Don’t want lunch or winery? Option to visit Christchurch. Enjoy a driving tour around the highlights of the city Your Christchurch tour itinerary Travel From Lyttelton or Christchurch to the Hurunui River (80 mins) Drive through small townships and admire the landscapes. Pass through the famous Waipara wine region which is home to Pinot Noir, Riesling and Sav wines. If youve opted for lunch, we will return here later. Travel via jet boat on the Hurunui river and take in the scenery that can only be viewed from the river. The jetboat travels on the braided river, the total trip is about 30 to 45mins Tim will share some commentary from a locals perspective and history about the area. After your river experience, we’ll return to Waipara for a wine tasting / lunch OR do a sight seeing tour in Christchurch. Then return to the ship or hotel Want to customise this tour?
