Tākaro Trails - Cycle Tours Hawke's Bay: Napier Pubs and Wineries Midday Ride with Shuttle to Taradale
About This Experience
In Hawke's Bay: The shuttle leaves Ahuriri at midday and drops you beside the trail at Taradale's PG Arena. From there, two routes home: Cruise Mode, 20km straight to the Taradale wineries; or Beast Mode, 35km taking in the Puketapu loop first — Shed 530's pizzas and the local institution that is the Puketapu pub. Either way you'll roll into Church Road Winery — vibrant, award-winning, with a top-class kitchen — and Mission Estate, New Zealand's oldest winery (bookings essential), before the Ahuriri Estuary water trails carry you back to base by 5.30pm. Want more? A Bayview diversion adds another 15km and one more winery, Crab Farm. You finish in Ahuriri itself, where Madame Social, National Gin Distillery and Mix'd pour the cocktails that close the day. • 12pm shuttle from the Ahuriri shop to Taradale (Wednesday-Sunday plus public holidays) • Choose 20km Cruise Mode or 35km Beast Mode via Puketapu • Winery stops at Church Road and Mission Estate • Return along the Ahuriri Estuary trails by 5.30pm Wine tastings, food and accommodation pickups are not included. A "No Worries" upgrade ($15pp) adds a gel seat cover, wine carrier bag and bike insurance for the day.
