Everyone thinks Marlborough is just Sauv Blanc and honestly we did too until this tour. There's so much more going on β the sub-region breakdown was eye-opening.
Asked for boutique wineries and it delivered. Skipped all the tourist traps and found some absolute gems we're still talking about.
Smart concept β explore wine country without being stuck on a tour bus. Self-guided is the way to go. Audio quality was surprisingly professional.
The narration was good but a couple of the suggested wineries were quite far apart. Maybe tighter routing would help.
