About This Experience
In Chianti Classico: Your Vino keeps this day to eight guests in an air-conditioned van, led by Matteo, a Florence-born sommelier who grew up around these hills. The three wineries are family-owned and organic, off the usual coach routes, and at each you taste at least four wines (twelve or more across the day) while touring the cellars and vineyards with the people who make them. Lunch is a traditional Tuscan meal with wine pairings. You leave with a brochure of wine notes and pairing suggestions, and the English-speaking guide is with you throughout. Children are welcome at a lower rate. Pick-up from your Florence accommodation can be added for €80 on request, and last-minute bookings are accepted.
