About This Experience

The walk begins at the Albany Visitor Centre with a friendly local guide, timed so you're in the best place for lights-up on Kari Kola's Lighting the Sound art installation across Princess Royal Harbour during ALBANY 2026. Next door in Alison Hartman Gardens you hear the story of the Menang Noongar and their place, Kinjarling. Then it's a gentle downhill wander — peering into alleys, up at the facades of historic buildings and down to the harbour lights — with your guide's tips on what's on, where to eat and drink, and how to reach the must-see spots.
