About This Experience

In Yarra Valley: Vinetrekker builds this day around four producers that show the valley's range. It opens at De Bortoli in Dixons Creek, where flavoured cheeses are matched to sparkling, table and dessert wines (De Bortoli makes Noble One, Australia's most awarded dessert wine). At Yering Station, Victoria's first vineyard, you taste estate and reserve wines in the original 1859 winery before a main-course lunch in the Wine Bar Restaurant. The afternoon moves to Coldstream Hills in Gruyere, founded by James Halliday in 1985 for chardonnay and pinot noir, and to Medhurst, a boutique estate in the valley's dress circle. On days when Coldstream Hills or Medhurst are closed, the tour visits Oakridge, Dominique Portet or Punt Road instead. Pick-up and drop-off are included; the group is capped at twelve.
