In Hunter Valley: In 1895, storekeeper John Younie Tulloch accepted an unusual debt settlement: a 43-acre Pokolbin property with five acres of Shiraz. From those vines came the first Tulloch Pokolbin Dry Red — the wine that made the family name. This vertical flight pours six vintages of PDR Shiraz from old to new, guided by your Wine Ambassador at a private seated tasting and paired with a generous local artisan charcuterie and cheese board for two to three people to share. An individual tasting mat and a take-home guide help you track the wine's evolution. Tulloch Wines sits an easy two-hour drive from Sydney and 45 minutes from Newcastle, in Australia's oldest wine region. Family friendly and inclusive: junior and teens kombucha experiences are available, with level cellar-door access and mobility parking.
