About This Experience
In Waipara Valley: Waipara is an hour north of Christchurch: long, hot, dry summers and a mix of soils that suit a wide range of varieties. Scotty B runs this day privately, with a short driving tour of Christchurch's highlights at the start or the end depending on your timing. The first tasting starts at 11am at one of Scotty's hand-picked vineyards: Terrace Edge, Georges Road, Greystone or The Boneline. Lunch follows at one of the valley's winery restaurants, Waipara Springs, Greystone or Black Estate, where you can taste further over the meal; say if you have a preference. Six hours, pick-up in Christchurch, up to eight guests; priced per group of one to four, with larger parties by arrangement. A different mix of tastings can be arranged on request.
