About This Experience
In Hunter Valley: The Single Suitcase series honours the Europeans who arrived in Australia in the 1950s with one suitcase and their hopes; the Laureti family came out from Abruzzo in 1955. The wines are small-batch Italian varietals: Pecorino from Brycefield Vineyard and Sangiovese from Racecourse Lane, both in the Hunter, Fiano from Hunter fruit, and more sourced from premium vineyards around Australia. The pairing is a seated experience in the Barrel Room at 15 Marrowbone Road, Pokolbin. Six wines are poured, each with a plate created for it by Chef Chiero, Saddler's Creek's Venetian-trained chef. Ninety minutes, one to twenty guests; Club Equus members pay a reduced rate.

Wine tasting is available to people over the age of 18 years old. Saddler's Creek Wines practices Responsible Service of Alcohol. PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF EACH OTHER - CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: • Tables will be held for 15 minutes after the booking time. If you are running late, please call on 02 4991 1770. • Please "Check in" with our wine host at the front door to be seated. • This experience has a set start time with an expected duration of 90 minutes. • Once the experience is completed, you are very welcome to extend your visit in our beautiful picnic area with wine and food purchased on site. • Please RELAX and ENJOY the serenity of our picturesque surrounds and Hunter Valley hospitality.
