About This Experience
In McLaren Vale: The ICONIC Experience is the full Magill Estate day in four hours. It opens with a guided walk through the working winery, the vintage cellar and the underground drives, including the spot where Max Schubert hid his Grange when the company told him to stop making it. Your host then leads a seated, structured tasting of some of Penfolds' most highly coveted wines in the estate's tasting room, before a shared chef's menu with matched wines in the Magill Estate Kitchen. Magill Estate is one of the world's few urban single vineyards, 15 minutes east of Adelaide's centre at 78 Penfold Road and about 40 minutes north of McLaren Vale. Runs Wednesday to Sunday at 11am; two to ten guests; all guests must be over 18.
