About This Experience
In McLaren Vale: Launched for Penfolds' 180th year and the 60th anniversary of Bin 707, the Collectors Experience is the tasting that opens the wines almost never poured anywhere: Yattarna Chardonnay, Quantum Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley and South Australia), the Penfolds x Dourthe Bordeaux blend, Superblend 802.B Cabernet Shiraz, Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon and Grange Shiraz, served in a private tasting room with the Grange palate cleanser. It begins with a bespoke tour of Magill Estate, one of the world's few urban single vineyards and the spiritual home of Penfolds, shaped to your interests, and ends with a food and wine moment at Magill Estate Restaurant, the estate's fine-dining room. Magill Estate is 15 minutes east of Adelaide's centre at 78 Penfold Road, about 40 minutes north of McLaren Vale. Two and a half hours; two to six guests; all guests must be over 18.
