About This Experience

Check in at the Kiwi Journeys Cromwell depot at 8.30am for a bike fitting and trail briefing, then ride the 9am shuttle to Clyde, where the Lake Dunstan Trail begins. From there it's 43 self-guided kilometres (Grade 2–3, intermediate) alongside the crystal-clear waters of Lake Dunstan, from Clyde through Bannockburn to Cromwell — an accessible ride past vineyards, historic sites and the charming townships at either end, with the spectacular views of Central Otago's rugged country for company.
