About This Experience
In Gibbston Valley: Kiwi Journeys' Explorer starts with a shuttle from Queenstown to Arthurs Point, where the crew fits your premium eBike and talks you through the trail options. From there you choose your own route to Gibbston. The gentler line follows the Wharehuanui Trail to Arrowtown, with time for its historic streets, shops and cafes, then the Arrow River Bridges Trail east. The bolder line takes the Shotover Gorge Trail, through a 108-metre tunnel and along the river, joining the Twin Rivers Trail beside the Shotover and Kawarau. Both routes meet the Gibbston River Trail at the Kawarau Bungy Bridge and follow it into the valley's wineries, where you stop as you please before the shuttle back to Queenstown. The ride is 34–37 km at Grade 2–3; children from six ride at a lower rate.
