In Champagne — Reims, Épernay & the Côte des Blancs: France Intense Group's private Champagne day pairs one of the great houses with a family winery. Your driver-guide collects you at 9:30 from Reims Centre station or a hotel between Reims and Épernay, and the morning opens with a guided tour of Reims Cathedral, where France's kings were crowned. Veuve Clicquot follows: a guided tour of the house's cellars and a tasting. Then the scenic Route du Champagne through the vineyards, lunch at leisure in Reims or Épernay (or an optional Champagne tasting lunch at a winery or restaurant for €100 per person), and a tour and tasting at a local winery in the afternoon. Drop-off is at 5:30 at Reims station or your hotel. The tour is private and priced per group: two, three, four or five guests. Wineries can change with availability.
