About This Experience

In Champagne — Reims, Épernay & the Côte des Blancs: This is the grower-Champagne day. From the Reims Centre station at 9:30, your guide drives through the Montagne de Reims vineyards with the history and terroir of the region, to the first family producer: the cellars, the traditional method, and a tasting of several cuvées. Hautvillers follows, the hillside village where Dom Pérignon is buried, with views over the Marne Valley vineyards, then a second family grower. After lunch at a local restaurant, the third grower, and a look at Épernay's Avenue de Champagne before the return to Reims. Eight hours, up to eight guests, with an expert local guide.
