Pick-up is from your Newcastle address — hotel, Airbnb or private residence — with the drive to wine country taking about an hour each way. The group is capped at 11, so there’s room to ask questions and settle in while your guide covers the Hunter’s history, wine-making process and local culture on the road. Tastings are hand-selected to run from iconic national labels to hidden-gem, family-run estates. We pick you up and drop you back to your specified Newcastle address - hotel, airbnb, private residence. Pick up areas accepted are: Newcastle East/ West, Merewether, Cooks Hill, The Hill, Bar Beach, Adamstown, Hamilton, Kotara, Charlestown, Highfields, Lambton, New Lambton, Mayfield, Sandgate, Waratah, Jesmond, Cameron Park and Wallsend. For other Newcastle locations please contact us prior to booking. Travel time from Newcastle to the Hunter Valley is roughly an hour each way. Please note we require a minimum number of guests to run each tour. If the number is not reached we will offer you a change of date or full refund.
