About This Experience

In Barossa Valley: The first tasting of the day happens inside a working wine-making facility, surrounded by huge vats named after family members. Kies Family Wines opens that space for this tour rather than only its cellar door - award-winning wines, tasted where they are made. From there it is 20 minutes of free time on the high street of historic Tanunda, then Turkey Flat Vineyards - family-owned with a history dating back to 1847 - for a structured tasting and a regional platter lunch of local meats, fresh breads, cheeses, pate and other local delights. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free platters are available, and there is no rushing the meal. The afternoon brings the Menglers Hill lookout over the valley, a vineyard-side tasting at Rosenvale Vineyards with its sixth-generation owners, and a closing scenic drive through Seppeltsfield with time to photograph the iconic date palms. Pick-ups run from locations around Adelaide and Glenelg, with expert commentary from your See Adelaide and Beyond guide the whole way.

The following cancellation policy applies: Bookings cancelled 48 hours or more prior to departure will receive 100% refund on monies paid. Bookings cancelled 24-48 hours prior to departure will receive 50% refund on monies paid. Bookings cancelled less than 24 hours prior to departure will not be refunded. Taste the Barossa may offer a full or partial refund in the event of a cancellation less than 24 hours prior to departure only if circumstance are deemed exceptional.
