About This Experience

The bar is the back of a pickup ute, the host is winemaker Rob Mack, and the venue is the Brini family's working vineyard in the Blewitt Springs dress circle for Grenache — one of the highest, most scenic points in McLaren Vale. Under the gum trees, right in front of the old bush-vine Grenache, Rob pours five to seven wines he's personally selected for you across the Welkin, Core and Reserve ranges, with a splash of Cellar or Member exclusives when they're not sold out. In rain or extreme heat, groups under 10 relocate to the cellar door at 67 Kays Road, five minutes away. There are no toilet facilities at the vineyard, and $60 of the $125 fee is redeemable on joining the Aphelion Wine Club on the day.
