About This Experience

In Margaret River: All About Margaret River's Hidden Gems day is for people who want the region's small producers rather than the famous gates. It begins at a private farmstay, where you feed emus and alpacas before morning tea of scones with jam and cream and locally roasted coffee. A local chocolatier follows, with a guided tasting of handmade chocolate, then Olio Bello for olive-oil tastings and a farm-to-plate, Italian-inspired lunch in the cafe among the olive groves. The afternoon is the main event: three handpicked boutique wineries, each with a guided tasting of what makes Margaret River wine distinctive. Along the way there are stops for the coast, where whales and dolphins are sometimes spotted in season. Groups are capped at eleven; pick-up is from Margaret River accommodation.
