About This Experience

Six boutique cellar doors sit along this 24.5km loop through the Piccadilly Valley: CRFT's certified-organic single-vineyard wines, Brian Croser's Tapanappa at the foot of the Tiers Vineyard — the oldest in the Adelaide Hills — plus Greenhill Wines, Casa Freschi, Ashton Hills and the Hills Collide wine bar. Depart from the Uraidla Republic Bakery and ride at a relaxed pace — about two hours in the saddle over a four-hour outing — past vineyards, orchards, market gardens and native bush, skirted by Cleland Conservation Park. Cherry Bomb Cafe, a wood-fired bakery inside a converted 1870s stone house, and Wotton Family Wines (with summer cherries at the farm gate) make worthy detours, and the historic Uraidla Hotel waits at the finish.
