About This Experience

The day begins when Charles — your local Clare Valley guide — collects your group of four from your accommodation. No long drive from Adelaide, no strangers to keep pace with: with the vehicle and guide dedicated entirely to your group, the day follows your interests, from boutique cellar doors to scenery, local history, photography or a historic village. You'll usually visit four or five wineries, from well-known Clare Valley names to boutique family producers many visitors never discover, with a generous charcuterie platter of local produce for lunch at one of them. • Collection and return to your Clare Valley accommodation • Private tour exclusively for your group of four • Four or five wineries on a flexible itinerary shaped around your interests • Charcuterie lunch included; hosted personally by Charles Tours generally run 10am to about 4pm in chauffeur-plated, fully licensed, accredited and insured vehicles. Cellar door tasting fees — usually around $10 per person and often waived with a purchase — are payable at the wineries. A 20% deposit secures your booking, with the balance due 14 days before the tour; full refunds apply to cancellations more than 14 days out.
