About This Experience

The day begins when Charles — your local Barossa Valley guide — collects your group of four from your accommodation. No long drive from Adelaide, no strangers, no rigid timetable: with the vehicle and guide dedicated entirely to your group, the day naturally follows your interests, whether that's boutique cellar doors, scenery, villages or local history. You'll usually visit four or five wineries, from well-known Barossa names to boutique family producers many visitors never discover, with a generous charcuterie platter of local produce for lunch at one of them. • Pickup and return from your Barossa Valley accommodation • Private tour exclusively for your group of four • Four or five wineries, famous and boutique alike, on a flexible itinerary • Charcuterie lunch included; hosted personally by Charles Tours generally run 10am to about 4pm in chauffeur-plated, fully licensed, accredited and insured vehicles. Cellar door tasting fees — usually around $10 per person and often waived with a purchase — are payable at the wineries. A 20% deposit secures your booking, with the balance due 14 days before the tour; full refunds apply to cancellations more than 14 days out.
