About This Experience

In Brisbane Hinterland: A two-hour premium animal tour opens the day at Trevena Glen Farm, with your own guide leading the group — grooming and leading donkeys, walking alpacas around the farm, moving sheep and goats, feeding the pigs, rabbits and hens, collecting eggs from the coop and vegies from the garden, and a led horse ride around the farm for each participant who requests it. At 11am you make your way to Ocean View Estates, set on 100 acres of vineyards and bushland just 50 minutes from Brisbane and halfway to the Sunshine Coast. In the lakeside restaurant, a flight of the winemaker's five favourite wines arrives alongside four courses of the chef's favourite dishes — and you're welcome to stay as long as you like and soak up the atmosphere. • 9am — arrive Trevena Glen Farm (1100 Winn Road, Mount Samson) for the 2-hour premium animal tour with your own guide • 11am — depart Trevena Glen for Ocean View Estates • 11.45am — seated in the lakeside restaurant for the five-wine flight and four-course meal Suitable for ages 4 and up; riders must be aged 3–65 and weigh no more than 85kg. Enclosed shoes are required and helmets are provided, with waivers signed electronically before riding. The day is weather dependent, extra wine is available for purchase, and public holiday sessions incur a 15% surcharge.
