Tour de Tasmania - Private
About This Experience
In East Coast Tasmania: Day one starts with a welcome dinner in Launceston; day eight ends with a celebratory dinner in Hobart. In between, this private, fully supported ride traces Tasmania’s east coast — off-road rail trail first, then ocean-view riding with your support vehicle following at all times. Two nights at Freycinet Lodge anchor the trip: a winery lunch on the ride in, then a 5.5-hour guided walk to Wineglass Bay’s pink granite peaks with a gourmet picnic and a water-taxi return. Daily distances run 42–88 km, with shorter transfer-assisted options on the bigger days. • Day 2: North East Tasmania Rail Trail, Lilydale to Scottsdale (42 km) • Days 3–4: coastal riding to St Helens and Bicheno with a scenic picnic lunch • Day 5: into Freycinet National Park with a winery lunch (45 km) • Day 6: guided Freycinet and Wineglass Bay walk with water-taxi return • Days 7–8: Triabunna, then historic Richmond and the Coal River Valley into Hobart Included: eight nights in 4-star or equivalent rooms with ensuites, eight breakfasts, three lunches and six two-course dinners, Trek hybrid bikes and helmets (e-assist available for a small supplement), wine tastings at some of Tasmania’s best vineyards, arrival and departure transfers, and transport to MONA on the last day.
