About This Experience

In Coal River Valley: Every Thursday the afternoon tour heads out of Hobart into the Coal River Valley, Tasmania's closest wine country to the city, for wine tastings at the valley's cellar doors with cheese and local gins along the way. Meet at 12:50 at Brooke Street Pier on Franklin Wharf, where the vehicle waits and the guide meets you at the front steps, or arrange a hotel pick-up beforehand and be in the lobby ten minutes early. The tour returns to the pier at about 6pm; other drop-offs can be discussed with the guide. Two to twelve guests. Hobart's weather turns quickly, so bring a warm jacket and comfortable shoes with grip.
