About This Experience
In Coal River Valley: The Saturday edition of the Hobart wine afternoon, run by Terroir Wine Tours Tasmania, a family-owned operator. From Hobart (pick-up included; based at 12 Franklin Wharf) it visits Glaetzer-Dixon Family Winemakers, Stefano Lubiana's cellar door and Derwent Estate's vineyard, with sweeping views along the way. Cheese tastings sit between the wineries, there is a beer tasting for variety, and budding sommeliers can step up to the blind wine tasting challenge. The group is small, so the samples go round, and the vehicle is a luxury van with spacious legroom and reclining leather seats. Five hours, up to ten guests.
