About This Experience

In Chianti Classico: While the Chianti routes fill with coaches, Out of the Box Florence drives you the other way, to the Etruscan Coast. Your private driver collects you at your hotel or B&B in Florence and heads for Bolgheri, the region where Sassicaia, Ornellaia and Masseto were born and where the Super Tuscans rewrote Italian wine. The day pairs the wine with the coast: medieval Casale Marittimo stands quiet above the sea, and the villages of the Etruscan Coast are the kind most visitors never find. Winery visits and tastings are arranged for your group. Ten hours, private to your party. Priced per person by group size, from two up to ten.
