Mitu Wines: Weave & Wine Workshop — Margaret River
About This Experience
In Margaret River: Weave & Wine happens at the long table on Fair Harvest, a permaculture farm five kilometres from Margaret River's centre. The morning opens at 10 with welcome refreshments, then two unhurried hours of basket weaving with weaving artist Cynamon, with walks through the gardens to learn the wild fibres that go into your piece and plenty of hands to help. At 12:30 lunch is served: a seasonal spread from Fair Harvest's own gardens with select Indigenous foods by Koort to Koort. The day ends with a tasting of all four Mitu wines poured at the table. You take home the basket you made and the skills to keep weaving. No experience needed. Four hours, up to twenty guests, at 426 Carters Road.
