About This Experience

In McLaren Vale: The moon and the seasons shape Gemtree's farming, and Being Biodynamic is the walk that explains why. Your host starts with a tutored flight of five wines across the Foundation, Small Batch and Biodynamic Icon collections, all certified organic and biodynamic. Then a relaxed guided tour of the Biodynamic Hut and the native garden, where you see how the preparations are made and applied in the vineyard, and what sustainable winemaking means here in practice. It finishes with a generous regional platter of the Fleurieu's cheeses, condiments and locally baked breads, taken in with views over the vineyards and out to the sea. Ninety minutes, two to ten guests, at 167 Elliott Road.

Cancellation Policy

Subject to weather conditions. In the event the tour has to be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions, a full refund will be issued. Heat policy: If the weather is forecast to be 36 degrees or higher by the Bureau of Meteorology four days prior to your booked experience, the experience will be cancelled with the opportunity for you to obtain a full refund or reschedule the experience. Our team will contact you directly in the case of a cancellation. Closed-in shoes must be worn. In the interests of biosecurity in the vineyard, visitors will be instructed to disinfect their shoes prior to the start of the tour. Minimum 48 hours notice is required for this booking. Cancellation Policy Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy: 100% Refund of the tour price will be given if cancelled with more than 48 hours notice. Between 48 and 24 hours notice of cancellation, 50% of the tour price will be refunded. Within 24 hours, no refund will be issued.
