Bike About Cycling Tours & Hire: 3 Day Grapes for Good - E-Cycling Safari & Wine Experience (Private) — Langhorne Creek
About This Experience
Each of the six Grapes for Good wineries features a wine that supports an animal at Monarto Safari Park, with part proceeds funding Zoos SA’s work to save vulnerable species from extinction in the wild. This private three-day e-cycling safari rides the trail — then rides the park itself. Day 1 covers your transfer from Adelaide, morning tea at Mt Lofty Cafe and check-in at The Manna in Hahndorf. On Day 2, your Bike About guide takes you winding through the Langhorne Creek vineyards to wineries on the trail — Bremerton Wines, Kimbolton, Vineyard Road, The Wine House and Bleasdale Winery — before following the Bremer River to Lake Breeze for a picnic with sparkling Blanc de Blanc (swap to a red or white if that tickles your fancy). 15km of easy, flat riding; in winter or inclement weather the picnic becomes a three-course restaurant meal with a full wine tasting. Day 3 puts you inside Monarto Safari Park before the gates open: sunrise over the plains, e-biking past rhinos, zebras and giraffe, a light breakfast at the waterhole platform featuring native ingredients from the on-site Ngeragi ya:yun garden, then Lions 360 — Australia’s only 360-degree lion encounter — and lunch at the Visitor Centre Cafe before your return to the city. Minimum 2 guests to operate. • Return transfers from Adelaide • Accommodation at The Manna, Hahndorf • E-bike hire throughout • Morning tea at Mt Lofty Cafe • Tastings at five wineries on the Grapes for Good trail • Lake Breeze picnic lunch with a bottle of wine • Monarto Safari Park entry, breakfast with the giraffes and Lions 360
