Barossa Valley Chocolate Company Experience by Helicopter
About This Experience
The landing is the party trick: the helicopter sets down within 20 metres of the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company's entrance, on the northern side of Tanunda. Getting there is half the show β lifting off from the Hoffnungsthal Valley, tracking the western ridge past historic Seppeltsfield's contoured vineyards and palm-lined roads, then past Maggie Beer's farm and the famous Penfolds winery on descent. Lunch is an indulgent feast of steak or seafood with a glass of wine, followed by five house-made chocolates matched with the Chocolate Company's very own Vineyard Road wines. The return flight skirts Tanunda's iconic historic buildings, passes Jacob's Creek Winery β tanks holding up to 1.4 million litres each β then crosses the Barossa Goldfields and the Whispering Wall before descending into the Hoffnungsthal Valley. β’ Approx. 25 minutes in the helicopter, to and from the door β’ High life lunch β steak or seafood β with a glass of wine β’ Five house-made chocolates matched with Vineyard Road wines Extra drinks, take-home wine and transfers to the helipad aren't included. Pick-up is available from selected Barossa accommodation. Weight restrictions apply β passengers are weighed on the day, and guests over 130kg cannot fly. Wednesday to Sunday, 11:30am; 4β4.5 hours for 2 guests, $1,480 total.
